Weather warning for South Africa

On Tuesday and Wednesday 7 and 8 June, rainfall is expected to spread to most parts of South Africa, with a risk of
heavy falls of rain (greater than 50mm in 24 hours) in some areas.
Currently, the places most at risk of heavy rainfall on Tuesday 7 June are the North-West Province, Free State and
eastern parts of the Northern Cape. On Wednesday 8 June, the risk of heavy rainfall may persist in these areas,
while spreading to southern Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, eastern parts of the Western Cape and southern KwaZulu-
Natal.
